Shades of Harper
Shades of red and blue
Both lovely parts of you
Red like your heart with its boundless spirit
Obvious to all on the sleeve that you wear it
Blue like the ocean, so cold and deep
Though a warm hug is all that you seek
A third color stands out, eyes of an emerald green
Through these windows your kindness clearly seen
Lastly is gray, the color that brings them all together
All belong to Harper, my love, now and forever.
