Week 2 - Bonus || Roxanne finds ingredients
Roxanne blink once, twice, three times at the poorly scripted ingredients list she was just handed "You think I can read this? ... I can just barely make out your chicken scratch" Pensively she glanced between the two cats. "Ah very well...Marina you stay here. I can't have you getting into anymore trouble along the way."
She turned her glance towards the shopkeeper with a small smirk forming on her face "I see, Sir Peabody, I will find these ingredients you requested however you never said I couldn't request help of a friend!" turning her body in full she made her way towards the shop entrance eager to find a fix for her partner to be back to her canine self.
Roxanne made her way to an old friends shack nestled near a small fishing hole, not very far from the ocean. As she neared the shack sound of crackling fire filled her ears, and the scent of fresh stew filled her nostrils surely that meant Cap was home. She padded around the corner of the small shack and to her delight stumbled upon her old friend.
The older canine sat mixing a stew, hardly paying her any heed. "Hey Cap, fancy finding you here!" Roxanne made her way closer to him, dropping her hind into a comfortable sitting position. Cap'n Bark turned slowly to meet her gaze "Eh young lass Roxxy...Wha' fins you in ma neck o 'the woods" without hesitation Roxanne slides the poorly written ingredients list into the light of the fire "Remember that favor you owed me Cap? Well it would seem I need it now"
Silence filled the air for what felt like too long as Cap read over the list, once, twice, maybe three times. "Hm. Yur in luck lassy" Cap smiled a big toothy grin "I happen to hav jus what you need...All but tis would seem one..." he let the words trail off and remet his gaze with hers "...I do kno jus were to fin that lass one tho matey!" jotting down another barely legible scribble and passing her back the paper, he then got up and scampered off to find the requested items. He returned dropping them infront of her in a small bundled sack "Well off you go then lassy, mah soup is gettin cold"
Roxanne was just nearly done, all that was left was to collect the last item by the beach and return for the potion. She thanked her old friend and scurried off as quickly as she could, she couldn't let her partener suffer any longer!
