He is aware of his spitfire of a child. Sometimes he thinks his hair will grow white before he turned 30 when he was raising her. It hasn't.... yet.

He does care for his son but is sometimes deterred by the young man's indifference to him. Yet he learned that it's his way of showing some sort of affection and acknowledgment.

He tolerates his father and doesn't like to acknowledge their relationship. But he has softened over the years and as grown to call him "Dad".
