Daryl is constanly thinking about his research, even away from the lab he is thinking about it in some form. He is usually muttering about it. If he is quizzed on his research topics, he will brush questions off unless it's from someone close to him - in which case he may provide a demonstration if there's a practical experiment to go along with it. He particullarly enjoys sharing chemical reactions that cause something very visible to happen with others - but only in the controlled enviroment of his lab.
