Daring and bold, Beau is an intrepid Waterdog who loves adventures. Due to his audacious nature, he has a strong love for exciting sports such as surfing and rock climbing. He also isn't afraid to stand up for his friends or in the face of actual danger if need be. Outgoing and sociable, Beau just cannot have enough friends and tends to have a very friendly and magnetic persona. He enjoys talking and bonding with others and will do all he can to get to know as many other waterdogs and watercats. As far as he is concerned, anyone and everyone is just a friend he hasn't met yet. Cheerful and full of sunshine, Beau tends to see the world through the lense of the glass being half-full. He always has something positive to say, even about the most dreary of situations. To him, there will always be a silver lining in the storm clouds- so there is no point in letting the storm get him down.

Constantly lost in his thoughts and daydreams, Beau has a tendency to be a bit spacy at times. Though he is quite thoughtful and pensive, this leads to him being a bit oblivious and not terribly perceptive of his surroundings. He can be a bit of a klutz due to this trait as well unfortunately. If there is one thing Beau is good at it is being a bit melodramatic. He loves to ham it up and play into his emotions about certain situations and can very much be over-the-top when he feels like it. Though he mostly does this for laughs, he swears by the authenticity of his emotions and claims this is why he's such a good 'actor'- because it's all real of course. Fun-loving and rather silly, Beau will do just about anything for a laugh. As far as he is concerned laughter is truly the best medicine and he can be an absolute clown if it means bringing smiles to the faces of those around him. Though some may find him frustrating due to his inability to take much seriously, he doesn't mind- he likes a challenge when it comes to his comedy after all.

For most of his life, Beau has just been coasting on by and just going with the flow. He isn't very goal oriented and tends to choose having fun over any serious work. When push comes to shove, he has no direction or real purpose and just goes where the wind takes him. Due to Beau's goofy and laid-back nature, he can be extremely flippant even during times where he needs to be focused. His carefree nature makes it extremely difficult for those around him to get him to take important situations more seriously. This by far is one of the more frustrating traits he has according to those close to him and has caused a fair bit of grief from his friends who may need him during more dire situations. Careless and somewhat lazy, a lot of his negative traits stem from this particular quality of his. Though he is easy going, it's pretty much too much so and he lacks the passion and fire to motivate himself to do much more with his life.. He's far too lax and hasn't lifted a single paw to do a hard day's work since he can remember.
