Mikey looks up to Everette as a very revered Archipelago Explorer, as she was one of the first to go out and explore the vast islands and actually make it back with not only her life, but also detailed maps! He wishes to explore all the same, and get to meet her one day in the flesh (or sand in this case)

When she first meets Mikey, she admires how determined yet relaxed he is for having exploring out so far and so many times, much like herself. She can see that fire for life within him, and it, in turn, fuels her own. Everette cannot wait to teach him all the tricks of her trade.

Mikey is head over heels for Sienna, he utterly adores her. The way she laughs, the way she'll make seashells sound interesting, the way she brings life to every one of their conversations. Heck Sienna even helped him back up when he was badly injured! He isn't sure how she did it, but he's just glad she's in his life. Mikey loves bringing her to new places, giving her little handmade trinkets, and showing off his surfing skills to her.

Sienna loves Mikey very dearly, having grown close after he had helped her during an awful storm. She feels safe around him, she trusts him, she cares so deeply for him as her lover... and yet... Well, there are some things best kept secret. Sienna tells herself that every night as she lays beside him on the beach.
