Hello everybody and WELCOME to week two of Waterdog month!

My name is Archibald, but you can just call me Archie.  I'm quite honored to kick off festivities this week, but I've a few things I need first! You see, I'm an explorer, but finding artifacts and pretty gemstones can be tricky, and I'd love to employ your help. 

For this week, there will be a drawing prompt and a scavenger hunt!

*SCAVENGER HUNT*

There are three hidden artifacts to find around the website! You may find dig spots or suspicous looking areas you might want to investigate further, and doing so could lead you to a special item! These special items can only be found and claimed once, and turning them in [HERE] will reward you with one starfish each.

★ Please do not leak the spots of hidden items. This takes away from the fun of the event and we may revoke starfish if you are caught giving out locations.

Archie is looking for three items! A crystal or gem, maybe to gift to someone special..? Perhaps an ancient book that might have some secret knowledge in it! There might also be something with magical properties?! So go out and explore!

As mentioned in our newspost, we will be starting off the month slow with just a few simple prompts for this week! All of the bigger and more elaborate festivites will begin next week, but you can still earn prizes by completing this week's prompts!

Fancy drawing a few waterkids that you wouldn't normally choose to draw? Want to surprise someone with a piece of gift art? Come join us for our RNG prompt! For this prompt, each person will be given 1 or 2 randomly-generated masterlist numbers to draw.

★ Submit a prompt [HERE] letting us know you want to participate, and please include in the description how many numbers you want us to generate (maximum of 2 per person). **NOTE: We will only be using randomly-generated number that are set to YES for gift art here on the site!

Do they go shopping with friends for new summery clothes, or do they work hard to decorate their homes? Maybe they bake some festive treats? It's up to you! Hello everyone, and welcome to our new website! We're so happy to finally open the site up to the public. We know it's been a long time coming now but we want to thank everyone again for being patient with us while we work through getting the site created and up-to-date with all of the necessary information. With that being said, please keep in mind that the site still is a bit of a work in progress! There are some graphics or pages you may see that aren't 100% finished, and that's okay! We're working towards everything being completed, but we wanted everyone to be able to hop on the site in time for Waterdog Month this May.

We know everyone's super excited for this month's event, especially since it will be hosted completely on waterdogworld.com. More information will be coming in the future regarding individual prompts, shops, items, etc. For the time being, here's a couple of tidbits of information regarding the event that we can share:

★ Festivities for Waterdog Month will not officially start until the second week of May (May 8th).  Any big annoucements regarding the event  will be posted then!

★ For the first week of May, we will be starting off slow with a few simple prompt that will reward you a new event currency: starfish! Starfish  will be the currency for this year's event, and Sand Dollars will not be used for any potential shops at the end of the month (more information regarding the shop later).

★ This event will not be identical to events we have run in the past! Keep your eyes peeled for a news post each week detailing what the weeks activities are, as they will likely be different from the past years! ;3

★ Prompts for Waterdog Month will be posted to the "event prompt" category, and any details about how to complete the prompt will be included in its description, as well as in news posts posted for that specific week.

★ One raffle will be hosted each week of the month, and will have 3 winners. How these raffle tickets can be earned will be detailed in the news posts for each invidiual week's events. At the end of the week, the winners will be rolled and the prizes handed out! Prizes will also be included in the week's news post.

Welcome to the 2022 Waterdog Easter Egg Hunt!

With Waterdog month around the corner, we’re introducing our new website with this Easter egg hunt!

There will be 20 Eggs total hidden! (10 each day!)

Each ranging from new designs, Myo slots, Sand dollars, guest designs, and old friends being reintroduced! 

Each Egg will be hiding on easily accessible pages and even masterlist entries! 

As a disclaimer for the hunt to come, eggs may be hiding on some of the following: The new website, Waterdoge on DA, CoastalCaptyns DA account,  Mod DA accounts  and the Water-dog-love group! Nowhere else!

How claims work will be explained below!

In order to claim your newfound prize, click on the egg and be the first one to comment on the egg’s Sta.sh page and you will be delivered your prize by the end of the day! It’s that easy!

As in previous years, we will be breaking this event into two days so that all time zones have a fair chance! 

The event will run Sunday 17th and Monday 18th at 5 pm CST!

!! Rules !!

-Everyone is limited to one prize!

-if you happen to find more than one then please keep the hiding place to yourself! we would like our community to have a fair chance at finding them! If we find out someone has been sharing the location of eggs then we will pass your egg and the shared eggs to the next person, rehide them, or raffle off the design and you may possibly be banned from future events.

-The first egg you claim will be the first one you get! If you claim on other eggs you will be given the first one you commented on and the other eggs will go to the following person!

-When searching on DA please do NOT spam favourite anything to keep track of where you've searched. It's been done before in the past and we really don't want to be spammed. 

- Members who are blacklisted from the species may not participate in our events. This also applies to members we may have had extensive issues with in the past. Your claim will be forfeit and passed to the next person, rehidden or raffled if we see fit.

-Members who participated last year may participate again this year!
