I got up another community poll for everybody, this one is part two of our last poll regarding the matching/mismatching eye traits, as well as some additional questions regarding an upcoming feature- item crafting!
We'd love to hear from everyone on what you think about this feature, is it something you want to see, what kinds of items do you want to have craftable, recipe suggestions, ect...!

Hey everyone!

The second half of our charity design Gacha for Gaza is opening its form today!

We'll have this form open for three days until the 17th and then we'll roll and contact the winners! After donations are confirmed, these designs will be rolled and sent to the winners

There's 20 slots available for this second drop and these will all be designs made from people of the community and some of our now in-training staff!

Prices start at 20$ and vary based on species!

Hi everyone !! We have a final announcements regarding Waterdog Month for you!

Firstly, if you have done any of the prompts or participated in any of the scavenger hunts, you should have been rewarded a WD Month 2024 Trophy, drawn by our wonderful mod in training Jennie! If for some reason we missed you and you didn't get this trophy when you should have, please let us know so we can grant it to you!

Secondly, we have rolled and revealed the Surprise Design, a colorful kitty designed by another mod in training BUSTERSW0RD.

This raffle was won by PR1NCE! Congratulations

Finally, we want to hear any feedback you might have on the event! We started a feedback forum post on discord but also have this anonymous form for any feedback and encourage users to leave comments if you have any feedback for the event! Please try to keep this contructive as we want to improve and make future events enjoyable!

Overall, a big thank you to all of you for making this waterdog month special and I want to give a huge shoutout to my fellow members of staff who helped run the event, plan the prompts, write the story, contribute art, and more!

Hi everyone! Got some announcements for y'all!!

First off we wanted to address a concern that we've seen regarding why we lost a couple members of staff, including an admin. There was a breach of contract from our staff TOS, which we felt the need to let the staff in question go from the team. We ask that their privacy is respected, and any harassment towards them will not be tolerated by us. We wish them well and there is no hard feelings.

And secondly we got the second part of the Palestine Charity batch coming up! Look forward to July 14th for the gacha forms to open! The form will be open from the 14th to the 17th and will be rolled on the 18th!

Small reminder that the event shop will be closing at the end of the day [approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from now].

Doubloons will be used again next year for waterdog month if you would like to spend them but this is the last call to use them this year!

Hi everyone! Another small update for you but unvoiding is now free! All you need to do is send in a report here or open a ticket on our discord if you have any characters you need unvoided and we'll get to it!

In addition, we have opened a suggestions channel in the dicord regarding the future of Archie's emporium and the availability of items on site!

All of these ideas are very tentative and we'd love to hear what ones you like or what alternative ideas you have! We definitely want to revise Archies to make it more fair and know the community also would like more of the rarer items available outside of events but not become over saturated.

This has the potential of being a huge change for the species so we'd love to hear community input/ideas to how it should function. While there is an active discussion on the discord you can join if you want to spitball off of other users, we still want to hear everyone comment/ideas so feel free to comment here!

Edit - June 20th

We will be allowing electric water to be optional without the use of multiform! We know this is something a lot of you have been expressing wanting to see!

We've made note of characters needing compensation for this so I'll make sure everything is handed out accordingly. Just to make note here for clarity

 - If a character has multiform only for optional electric, you will be compensated a multiform rune for this as the character's rarity overall will be changed and losing the multiform trait.

- If your character has multiform, but other optional traits, they will not be compensated as the character still retains their multiform.

All compensation has been handed out accordingly- if I missed anybody please send us a report and we'll get it handled ASAP!

Hey everybody! It's been a little bit, but I wanted to give another small update regarding some trait changes we've been discussing lately. 

For the following traits

- Multiple Eyes

- Multiple Ears

- Multiple Legs

- Multiple Wings (Seraph)

- Multiple Tails

- Multiple Halos

It is no longer necessary to buy multiple tickets / runestones per set. Just one of these for the trait you want, will allow you to have any amount, up to our maximum limit per each trait. We will compensate people as needed for these when we finish finalizing the trait list and start fixing entries.

- Shaped Tails 

Now allowed to be all sand, similarly to Aquatic Tails, provided the design still has a 50/50 sand to water ratio.

- Sand Shirt

- Sand Shorts 

Are now allowed as a combination on designs, without the need for the long body trait, provided the design still has a 50/50 sand to water ratio. This does not apply to sweater/pants!

- Ice

No longer requires the Split Water trait to be a different color than the water. We will compensate people as needed for these when we finish finalizing the trait list and start fixing entries.

We also have a google form for another community poll! This time, we're only asking one question, having to do with Matching and Mismatching Eyes to Water (not to be confused with Heterochromia.) Would you guys want to see these traits removed, or should we keep them?

Hey there Waterdog enjoyers! Just a quick announcement for y’all. Multi-accounting has never been tolerated within the species. Multi-accounting is the use of more than one account to redeem free/easy to obtain items, designs and currency for personal use. Regardless of it being one person having more than one account or having another person join the species just to benefit another user, that isn’t acceptable as it makes it an unfair advantage over other users on the site. Items are made more easily available to make it more inclusive for anyone to be able to join Waterdogs since previously everything was locked behind money! Staff will keep an eye out for any and all exploits in the species, and proper consequences will take place.

Fetch Quests reset every 12 hours, and the items will rotate out with various starfish reward amounts.

Prompt Extension & Trophy

We'd like to make a small change in the timeframe for the event prompts, rather than ending them next Wednesday (June 14th) we will be extending them to last for the whole month! We hope this gives everybody enough time to be able to gain doubloons / raffle tickets.
We will picking our 3 winners from the Helpful Friend prompt on July 1st! 
We will be rolling our Surprise Design Raffle on this date as well.
